The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 – A review

First thing’s first, I am no movie reviewer and I rarely do this here in my blog. But after watching this movie last night, I just couldn’t get over it! Especially that they have put an equally boring, awesome and funny movie right here. No idea really on how they were able to do that but yeah, this was so worth it! 🙂 Even my mother loved it that she finds it hard to get over it too! Haha.
Anyway, to be honest, I have never been a fan of any of the other Twilight movies mainly because Harry Potter will forever be my love and I have no idea why people used to compare the two before when the two had totally different themes! But then when I was able to read all 4 books just before this movie was released, I must say that I might have judged it too much.
To do a bit of a recap of the first instalment of Breaking Dawn, Bella (Kristen Stewart) officially becomes a part of the Cullen family as she marries Edward (Rob Pattinson). As they went off to Isle Esme for their honeymoon, an unforeseen and most obscure thing happened when Bella becomes pregnant! Of course, who would forget that the movie ended with Bella having to wake up with fiery red eyes and beautiful flawless skin. And surely, this was how Breaking Dawn Part 2 started off.
Breaking Dawn Part 2  of course introduces us the half-human half-vampire daughter Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy) and a whole lot of new vampire characters from all over the world. Although 2 hrs would never be enough to emphasize all the little details in the book, I must say that Director Bill Condon and Screenplay Writer Melissa Rosenberg did quite a great job in showing it in the movie that still made complete sense, LOL
Again, the most sought out parts in the movie would be:
1. New vampire characters! 🙂
2. EPIC battle scene is EPIC! Whole lot of twists in this scene and really something to look forward to!
3. The last scene where they do a recap of Edward and Bella’s love story, from beginning to “forever
4. Final credits where you’ll really feel that this is the end of the Twilight Era ..
Scenes from Breaking Dawn Part 2
I wanna tell deetz of how good and funny Breaking Dawn was but it’s too good to spoil for anyone!! Haha! Anyway, my excitement paid off! 😉 And I also know now how it all went down to a fight! Definitely something to look forward to in the movie! 😉
To end this post, here’s 2 official trailers of the movie!

  1. I think it was a lovely epic finale and couldnt have gone better. The writer of this review Srijana, should stop writing reviews for English movies and stick to writing for masala drama Bollywood ones. I mean it looks like she has a personal grudge against the characters and series. Lady! grow up! its just fiction. Wat else do you expect.. Shahrukh romance and Salman actions or Saif comedies is it!!! Srijana i really feel you should waste your time writing these reviews without even watching the movie.
